HOOK ‘N DRY HANGER VOTED “ONE OF TOP 200 LEADING MOMS IN BUSINESS” IN 2009 STARTUPNATION COMPETITION
COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS - MAY 4, 2009 – Hook ‘n Dry Hanger announced today that it has been recognized as one of the top 200 mom-owned businesses in StartupNation’s 2009 Leading Moms In Business Competition. The competition, sponsored by VerticalResponse, recognizes the achievements of mothers across the country who run outstanding businesses.
The Hook ‘n Dry Hanger was invented by Diane Hassel of College Station, Texas, to solve women’s universal laundry problem of finding enough room to air dry wet bras, lingerie, swimsuits and other delicate clothes. In 18 months, she has turned her idea into a nationally recognized business. The Hook ‘n Dry Hanger is a clothes drying hanger that packs an entire clothesline of functionality into the shape and space of a standard hanger. Each hanger has multiple hooks that are placed on the hanger to promote air circulation and clothes drying. According to Diane Hassel, “It is such an honor to have our customers vote for our hanger in this national competition.”
